WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS ARE POSTED TO THE SITE?
Projects range from specific EHR module optimization, regular EHR maintenance, security structure evaluation and much more. Most projects are short term with discrete outcomes, but some Abido professionals are available on a longer term basis for providing backfill or extended projects.
WHAT IS THE BIDDING PROCESS?
After submitting an initial project request, Abido will match an organization’s project to the most qualified professionals in the Abido network. Available professionals will submit their bids, and Abido will present the best matches for review.
HOW ARE PROJECTS MANAGED?
The selection process will include a Statement of Work, defining project timelines and milestones. The professionals will be responsible for marking items as complete with Abido. Progress will be tracked and shared with the organization.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
After engaging a professional, payment will be transferred to Abido, where it will be held in escrow until the project is completed. Once the project is marked as complete, payment will be transferred to the professional.
WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THE WORK?
Nothing is more important to us than customer satisfaction. In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your project, an Abido mediation expert will work with you to achieve a successful outcome and professional replacement if necessary.
WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR GETTING AND ACCEPTING BIDS?
Most projects will receive multiple bids within a short period of time. The acceptance process will vary by project, but is generally recommended to be completed as soon as possible to ensure professional availability.
HOW DO PROFESSIONALS GAIN ACCESS TO ORGANIZATION NETWORKS?
Due to the sensitive nature of health information, all professional access will be managed outside of Abido directly with the organization through their normal IT access policies and procedures.
WHAT IF I WANT TO HIRE THIS PROFESSIONAL FOR MORE WORK ON A REGULAR BASIS?
While most projects are short term in nature, there are some organizations who prefer long term or recurring commitments. In this case, Abido can establish regular payments (bi-weekly or weekly).
